After enjoying the vista, take note of the year of construction of the tower.
Then walk to the cache which is hidden nearby at the coordinates:
N 55 58.XXX E 010 31.YYY (WGS 84) Where
XXX = year of construction minus 1653
YYY = year of construction minus 1576
The stash consists of a suitably marked ammo can. This being a family-oriented production, its initial contents are primarily tuned to the needs of the little ones (or those merely young at heart):
- stuffed toy skunk
- small Lego set
- yoyo
- toy parachute
- toy helicopter
- 2 bouncing balls
- soap bubble set
- small lamp
- 2 mini skateboard keyrings
- tin of kippers (of course)
Note added 9 Nov 2006: Thanks to the generous efforts of Norwoods, this geocache has been resurrected and made active again after having laid archived for more than four years. The cache itself is now a bagged watertight plastic container, and its location has been moved slightly. Aside from adjusting the cache coordinates, the original description has been left intact in the interest of historical authenticity.
Note added 8 May 2015: The no longer watertight plastic container has been replaced with a proper marked ammo can (small model), and a new logbook has been initiated.
Note added 12 November 2018: This is to inform any interested parties that this cache will regrettably be shut down and archived some time during the first week of December. Anyone wishing to log what is presently Denmark's tenth oldest cache therefore has until then to do so.
