Varje kommun i landet har erhållit en klon av ornäsbjörken Betula Dalecarlica, vilka har planterats på väl valda platser i respektive kommun.
Denna klon härstammar från den ornäsbjörk som hittades i Ornäs år 1767, och har utsetts att vara Sveriges riksträd.

Björken i Nynäshamn planterades år 1991 på angivna startkoordinater.
Läs igenom skylten (kan vara svår att se vintertid). På sista raden finns fyra ord, med antal bokstäver A, B, C resp. D.

Every town and rural district in Sweden got a couple of years ago a cloned copy of a rare birch tree from Ornäs/Sweden, Betula Dalecarlica, which have been placed on selected places in the different towns/districts.
This clone comes from the Ornäs birch that was found in Ornäs in 1767, and has been appointed to Swedens national tree.
The birch in Nynäshamn was planted in 1991 at the above coordinates.
There is a description at the tree (in swedish, can be difficult to see in wintertime). The last line contains four words, the number of letters in them are A, B, C and D.
