[SWE]Många gånger under årens lopp när vi åkt mellan Södertälje och Stockholm har vi hört på trafikradion att det varit en olycka på E4/E20. Varje gång har vi utbrustit "Det är säkert Salemavfarten" och ofta har det stämt. För några år sen byggde man om den främst genom att förlänga av- och påfarterna. Numera är det även tre filer hela vägen mot Södertälje och hastighetsgränsen har sänkts för att minska antalet olyckor. Men fortfarande händer det olyckor där lite då och då. En trolig orsak kan vara att när solen står lågt är den mitt i synfältet när man kör mot Södertälje. Andra orsaker kan vara att folk helt enkelt håller för hög hastighet och inte tillräckligt avstånd till bilen framför.
Cachen är INTE placerad på eller intill motorvägen för dels är det förbjudet att stanna, dels är det inte meningen att olycksrisken ska öka. Placeringen är på en säker plats där du kan logga i lugn och ro utan att behöva riskera liv och hälsa.
[ENG]Many times over the years when we were going between Södertälje and Stockholm, we have heard on the traffic radio that there was an accident on E4/E20. One possible reason could be that when the sun is low, it is in the center of the visual field when running against Södertälje. Other reasons may be that people simply drive too fast and too close to the car ahead.
The cache is NOT located on or adjacent to the highway as it is forbidden to stop there, and it is not intended that the risk of accidents will increase. The location is in a safe place where you can log in peace without having to risk life and limb.
