Dansk - serien: Ringvej Syd er en 5 Km lang motortrafikvej mellem Motorvej E45 tilslutningen i Sønder Borup og omfartsvejen syd om Assentoft.
De første planer blev lagt i foråret 2001, anlægsloven blev vedtaget i foråret 2010, og efter et års tid var man igang med linjebesigtelse, arkæologiske undersøgelser og detailbesigtigelser.
Anlægsarbejdet startede med broerne i sommeren 2012, anlæggelse af selve vejen i efteråret 2012, og vejen kunne åbnes i september 2014.
Vejforløbet går gennem et område med mange vandløb, skovagtige områder og mindre veje, så der er ikke mange hundrede meter mellem broerne.
Der er ingen rastepladser på Ringvej Syd - så benyt den angivne P-plads eller tag turen rundt på de små veje til fods eller på cykel.
Dansk - cachen: Med opførslen af rundkørslen, blev til- og frakørsel ramperne til motorvejen flyttet lidt mod øst. Linjeføringen af Munkdrupvej og Stånumvej blev også rettet noget ud, efter at de siden anlæggelsen af motorvej E45 havde haft nogle skarpe sving.
