Ingen fergekai uten cache. Man må bruke ventetiden litt. Fergen forbinder Sølsnes i Molde kommune med Åfarnes i Rauma kommune. Dette er den mest brukte vegen for å komme seg fra Nordmøre og Romsdalen til E139 mot Dombås for å kjøre videre mot Oslo. En gang i tiden var det planlagt å bygge verdens dypeste tunnell under Langfjorden, men til slutt skjønte man, at kostnadene hadde vært uforsvarlig høyt. Det finnes tanker om å bygge en bru en gang i tiden, men til det skjer kan man fortsatt nyte norsk fjordlandskap på en liten fergetur.

No ferry dock without cache. One must use the waiting time a bit. The ferry connects Sølsnes in Molde municipality and Åfarnes in Rauma municipality. This is the most used road to get from northern Møre og Romsdal to the E139 towards Dombås for continued driving towards Oslo. Once it was planned to build the world's deepest tunnel under the fjord, but eventually it was realized, that the costs would be unacceptably high. There are thoughts about building a bridge at one time in the future, but until that happens, you can still enjoy Norwegian fjord landscape on a short ferry ride.
