A small plastic cylinder next to a camping ground. Easily accessible by foot. Difficulty level 1.0.
En sex mil lång sträcka längs Vindelälven (Sorsele-Gillesnoule) trafikerades under 1920-talet av den ursprungliga båten Älvkungen. Sista resan med den båten gick troligen 1938. En modern kopia av båten vinterförvaras i den nya byggnaden vid cachen. Efter färdigställandet av kopian 2004 kunde turister ta kortare eller längre turer längs älven. Sommartid ligger båten vid brandstationen, där beställningsturer kan göras. Det går även att beskåda resterna av den ursprungliga båten i en av byggnaderna vid hembygdsområdet.
Cachen består av en liten plastcylinder med loggbok och penna.
During the 1920´s passengers could travel by a twelve-metre-long boat along the Vindelälven, a distance of about 60 km. In 2004 a modern copy of that boat started to take tourists for longer or shorter trips along the river during summer time. Today the boat is situated by the fire station during summer, hopefully waiting for someone to take a tour on the river. The remains of the original boat can be seen in the building by the cache.
The cache is small plastic cylinder with a log book and a small pencil.
