Also known as the Long Valley U.C., or undercrossing. Safe, off-freeway parking at N39 41.925 W120 01.811 Due to Dept. of Fish and Game concerns the cache has been moved outside of the fenced in area. Please park at the suggested coords.if you are traveling north.
Another in our series of safe passages. This location provides safe passage for the Loyalton-Truckee deer herds which migrate through here in great numbers during the early spring. Along the walk you will see one way openings for the occasional stray deer and some railroad graffitti. While pllacing this cache I saw two antelope using the crossing. Cache is a 5 by 5 lock and lock with a logbook and pencil. Original contents include: deck of cards, 3 pencil sharpeners, a golf ball, and bull dog clip. For the first to find there is a SuJoJeepers FTF coin.
