Geocache Description:

Welcome to Interior! Home of the world-famous 1920's rodeo's and home to true cowboys and Indians!

This memoriam cache is placed here in honor of Fae Johnston and Lane Johnston. Fae is Lane's daughter-in-law.

Fae Johnston was an outdoors girl who loved Interior and always said that the Badlands was "the most beautiful place on Earth". You could find her with a camera in hand taking pictures or cooking up something good for her friends and family.

Lane Johnston was the county sheriff around these parts in the 1960’s and could be seen patrolling town, breaking up bar fights and if not on duty, on a horse. Interior used to be a wild-west town. Now Interior is home to families and is comparatively very quiet.
