Our two boys, ages 9 and 6, thought this would be a great place for a geocache. It is not located on the museum property because their gate is closed on Sundays and after 5pm every other day. We did inform the staff that we wanted to place a geocache in the area and obtained approval, so if you can't find it or need help, they are aware of it's location. Park in the Space Murals Museum parking lot (always open, the gate does not close access to the parking lot). Walk to the east, just past the parking lot and look for an obvious marker to the north. Please sign/stamp the log, take a goodie, and leave something fun in return. There is also a letterbox in the area. It is not ours, but we were informed of it by the museum staff and located it. Have fun! UPDATE 12/26/14: We are currently out of the area for a while visiting family. Recent finders are reporting that this cache needs a new container. If anyone has a plastic container or even a bag to transfer contents to, I would be grateful so that they don't get wet. A huge thank you!
