This cache was placed here because anyone who is heading south from I-10 to Hachita and beyond, or returning from there, ought to have a good reason to stop here. This is a good spot to check messages on cell phones, because within a few miles south of this point, you will likely loose coverage. There is plenty of room for quick stop off of the interstate and lots of room for those with a trailer.
