Välkommen till Gustafsberg, Uddevalla. Detta är Sveriges äldsta badort. Det började med att det 1729 upptäcktes att vatten i brunnar här i Baggetoft, som det då hette, var väldigt hälsosamt och folk kom resandes för att dricka av det. Runt 1780 så blev det även modernt med att dricka brunn och ta salta bad. 1804 lät dåvarande kungen, Gustav IV Adolf och drottning Fredrika sin sjukliga son besöka orten och därmed fick man lov att byta namn till Gustafsberg. Det gula badhuset är numera ett vandrarhem. Du kan ta dig hit med eget fordon och då gärna via vägen över "Hästepallarna" som utnämdes till en av Sveriges vakraste vägar i början på 1900. Du kan även vandra innefrån staden via "Strandpromenaden" utmed vattnet eller på sommaren åka med turistbåtarna från staden och hit. För att få logga denna krävs att du tar ett foto på dig själv eller din GPS från Ångbåtsbryggan (foto wp) på valfritt motiv. På det lilla röda huset sitter en elbox med bokstaven S och 3 siffror efter. Du skall svara till co via meddelande eller mail vilka dessa siffror är, se bild i galleri. English: Welcome to Gustafsberg, Uddevalla. This is Sweden's oldest sea resort. It began with the fact that in 1729 it was discovered that water in wells here in Baggetoft, which it was then called, was very healthy and people came traveling to drink from it. You can get here with your own vehicles and then preferably via the road over "Hästepallarna" which was named one of Sweden's most beautiful roads in the beginning of 1900. You can also hike from within the city via the "Strandpromenaden" along the water or in the summer go with the tourist boats from the city and here. In order to get the log this requires that you take a photo on your self or your GPS from the steamboat jetty (Photo wp) on any motive. At the small red house is an electric box with the letter S and 3 digits after. You must reply to co via message or mail which these numbers are, see picture in gallery.
