I spent many a day playing around this area as a kid.  My dad helped initiate the nearby museum and the annual air show that may or may not still take place.  Go to the coordinates posted to find out the answers to these questions:

1)     Name the airport.

2)     Name the designer of the craft.

3)     How long did the craft take to complete the “circuit”?

4)     What was the name of the craft?

5)     Finally, there are several white square posts with chains used to mark the parking spot. What is the large prominent letter cast on the side of them?

The big screen movie “Superman” Christopher Reeve was present at the dedication of this monument.  My Dad witnessed the actual flight of this craft when it completed the circuit and claimed the prize.  Log your visit and then e-mail me here with the answer, I will e-mail back if you are in error. Note: If you do not get an email reply from me, feel free to log the cache. I only reply occasionally, and usually only reply or email those that are incorrect or have not emailed answers at all. NOTE: PLEASE NO PHOTOS OF THE OBJECT AT GROUND ZERO, THIS IS TO DISCOURAGE ARMCHAIR LOGGING, AT THE VERY LEAST...NO PICTURES OF THE TEXT!! THANK YOU!!  Hope you enjoy your visit here.
