I spent many a day playing around this area as a kid. My dad helped initiate the nearby museum and the annual air show that may or may not still take place. Go to the coordinates posted to find out the answers to these questions:

The big screen movie “Superman” Christopher Reeve was present at the dedication of this monument. My Dad witnessed the actual flight of this craft when it completed the circuit and claimed the prize.
