This is an easy virtual cache, located where many of the celebrations took place in 2002.
28,000 volunteers helped make the 2002 Olympic Winter Games a success in Salt Lake City. From the folks who served as ushers and helped direct traffic to those who prepared the Opening and Closing Ceremony packets, every volunteer contributed to overall success of these games. Every volunteer played an important role in making these games rememberable.
One year after the games, this "Wall of Honor" now recognizes these individuals, who sacrificed time from their jobs and families to "make it all happen." On February 7, 2003 the names of these volunteers were revealed on approximately three dozen stone panels in the Olympic Legacy Plaza.
To claim this virtual cache, send an e-mail to me with your answer to the following question--
Who is listed on the fifth panel on the first column, located thirteen from the bottom? Please include your caching name as well.
Please do not reveal your answer as you log your posting on the site, even if encrypted. Anyone trying this will have their post deleted.
Feel free to spend some time wandering the plaza and enjoying the fountains. For those who spent time here during the games, perhaps you will have some fond memories of this magical time in Salt Lake City.
