Geocache Description:

Replaced for second time 5th of May 2005. New container size and new position.

This cache is a part of the Nolhaga Conquest Multi-cache. To find the NC you also need to visit 4 other caches in the area:
Castle View (NC1)
S/S Herbert (NC2)
Birdie Nam-nam (NC4)
Squeeze (NC5)

In the cache you will find a pink note (Please don’t remove it). On the note you will find a question or a riddle and the answer will give you a part of the coordinates needed for the Nolhaga Conquest.

There can be a lot of people at the pier, mainly anglers and passing boats (summertime), so be very careful when approaching this cache.

History:
Lake Mjörn is one of the biggest lakes in western Sweden with an area of 58 km². To travel on Mjörn without any prerequisites has always been a bit daring. A number of more or less correct nautical charts have been available since the twenties. To solve this problem once and for all, Lake Mjörn Nautical Chart Society was founded 1986 by different interest organizations as yacht clubs, angling clubs and pier societies around Mjörn with its approx. 3000 boats. A cartographer was engaged and with contribution from the municipalities of Lerum and Alingsås a nautical chart was drawn and navigation marks were located according to “system A”. From the beginning it was only one badly knocked lighthouse at the top of the pier at the outlet of river Säveån in Alingsås.
The lighthouses of Lake Mjörn:
Piren (Alingsås) N 57° 56 E 012° 30 Iso WG 4s

Lammholmen N 57° 51 E 012° 20 Iso WRG 5s
Pellholmen N 57° 54 E 012° 28 Fl(2) WRG 6s
